Channel Sales Account Manager based in South East

Up to £35k basic salary (OTE £70K) + mileage + expenses + laptop + mobile + Private Healthcare and pension. Excellent career opportunity! 

We are a fast growing provider of business telecommunication services to the UK channel with a multi-million pound turnover. Due to continued expansion there is now a requirement for a Channel Sales Account Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a channel sales (internal or external) background with experience of telecoms solutions. This is a key role in an existing successful team for a candidate living in the M25 area, but further afield would be considered.

 Key responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and develop reseller accounts
  • Increase sales of vendor products and services through all dealers/resellers
  • Maintain channel development through new partner identification and acquisition
  • Maintain the development of account plans for all managed accounts
  • Stimulate market growth for vendor proposition
  • Develop business growth through pro-active marketing and sales initiatives
  • Achieve all agreed revenue/profit and activity targets
  • Report on performance and account activity
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services (training given)
  • Organise and assist with customer demonstrations/presentations and training
  • Use all relevant company processes to ensure the effective management and development of staff
  • Any other duties as necessary for the role

A full UK driving licence and car owner is required (mainly office based with some client visits)

  • Minimum 12 months experience of telecoms/ISP required, or other IT-related industry.
  • Proven sales experience in channel sales role.
  • Knowledge of converged solutions and IP technology.
